Weddings & other special occasions

I am available as a violin soloist, or with the "Soli Deo Gloria" duo/trio/quartet, to provide music for weddings, memorial services, special occasions, corporate and holiday events. Music selections range from the most traditional classical and sacred favorites (Bridal March, Pachelbel Canon, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, hymns etc.) to a wide variety of styles and songs from more recent genres, including pop tunes, show tunes, romantic "oldies" and movie soundtracks. I can even work with you to arrange and customize your own favorite music for your event.

"Soli Deo Gloria" is a flexible chamber ensemble of 2, 3 or 4 members, adding cello, piano, viola and/or additional violin in any combination requested. Music selections and arrangements are available as described above!

If you're in an existing chamber group and need a fill-in for an event, I would be happy to provide one-time or occasional assistance. Chances are I'll already know the music and be ready to play with limited rehearsals or as a last-minute fill-in.

Studio recordings

I am an experienced studio musician and can provide featured violin solos or accompaniments for your recording project. Provide your own specific musical directions or ask for improvisation: I will enjoy contributing to your creative vision to whatever extent you request.

Backup musician

Include a violin in your next gig! If you're in a live band or ensemble that would like to feature violin in a song or performance, I would love to jam with you on either my acoustic or electric instrument! I play a Yamaha Silent Violin in addition to my vintage German wooden instrument. I can read chord charts, play by ear and improvise in different styles.

Comments:

"I was so very proud of the way the [recording] session went down and the proof is in the pudding. Thank you  for the risk as a player you undertook and the beautiful collaborative stance you afforded to me."
